All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is inviting Saksham Scholarship Scheme online registration form 2024 at scholarships.gov.in. Interested students can make NSP portal OTR registration and login to apply online for Saksham Scholarship. This scheme aims to provide encouragement and support to specially abled children to pursue technical education (degree/diploma).

This is an attempt by central government to give every young student, who is otherwise specially-abled, the opportunity to study further and prepare for a successful future through technical education/ knowledge.   • The National Scholarship Portal is open for Academic year 2024-25 now.
  • The students can now start registering in the NSP official website to get their One Time Registration(OTR) numbers.

  • Once registered, applicants can make Applicant Login with OTR ID and PASSWORD to fill your Fresh Saksham Scholarship application form for AY 2024-25.

  • Enter OTR (One Time Registration) No., password, captcha, security PIN and click “Login” button to apply online for Saksham Scholarship Scheme.

Last Date to Apply For Saksham Scholarship For Specially Abled

Saksham Scholarship Scheme last date for the academic session 2024-25 (Technical Degree / Technical Diploma) is 15th November 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for Saksham Scholarship Scheme

  • The candidate should be admitted to First year of Degree / Diploma level course OR Second year of Degree / Diploma level course through lateral entry in any of the AICTE approved Institution of respective year.
  • Specially-abled student, having disability of not less than 40%.
  • Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum during the current financial year. A valid income certificate issued by State /UT Government need to be enclosed.

Number of Scholarships under Saksham Scholarship Scheme

All eligible specially-abled student admitted to First year of Degree / Diploma level course OR Second year of Degree / Diploma level course through lateral entry in any of the AICTE approved Institution will get the Saksham scholarship amount.

Amount for Specially Abled under Saksham Scholarship

  • For Degree – Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum 4 years for first year admitted students and maximum 3 years for second year admitted students through lateral entry as lump sum amount towards payment of college fee, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipments, softwares etc. No other additional grant will be payable in lieu of hostel charges and medical charges etc.
  • For Diploma – Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum 3 years for first year admitted students and maximum 2 years second year admitted students through lateral entry as lump sum amount towards payment of college fee, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipments, softwares etc. No other additional grant will be payable in lieu of hostel charges and medical charges etc.
