NATS 2.0 portal registration 2024 process has been started for students at nats.education.gov.in. Central government has launched National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0 portal with better user experience, faster response time and additional features. NATS 2.0 aims to skill Indian youth in trade disciplines. NATS internship scheme offers Graduate, Diploma students and Vocational certificate holders; a practical, hands-on On-the-Job-Training (OJT) based skilling opportunities with duration ranging from 6 months to 1 year

Below is the complete process to fill NATS 2.0 portal registration form online:-

  • Firstly, visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0 portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/
  • At the homepage, click at “Student” tab present in the main menu or directly click https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php

  • Click at “Student Register” tab or simply click https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
  • Then the page showing list of documents which must be kept ready to enroll students at NATS 2.0 portal will open.

  • Select Yes if you have the documents to enroll and proceed to make NATS 2.0 portal registration for students.

List of Documents Required for NATS Apprenticeship Scheme

  • Aadhaar card
  • Valid Personal Email ID (will be required to activate account and Login)
  • Mobile number
  • Passport size photograph Format: JPEG, Size: Less than 1 MB
  • Aadhaar seeded/mapped Bank account details
  • Qualifying Degree / Provisional Certificate, Format: PDF, Size: Less than 1 MB
  • First page of Bank passbook / Bank account statement, Format: PDF, Size: Less than 1 MB

What is National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0

NATS 2.0 is an apprenticeship scheme to equip technically qualified youth with practical knowledge and skills required in their field of work. Several organizations impart training to apprentices at their place of work. Trained Managers with well developed training modules ensure that apprentices learn the job quickly and competently. During the period of apprenticeship, the apprentices are paid a stipend amount, 50% of which is reimbursable to the employer from Government of India.

At the end of the training period the apprentices are issued a Certificate of Proficiency by Government of India. Students can use this certificate and register it at all employment exchanges across India as valid employment experience. The apprentices are placed for training at Central, State and Private organizations which have excellent training facilities.

  • National Apprenticeship Training Scheme offers an opportunity for students to get trained in some of the best organizations in the Central, State and Private Sector.
  • Students who have passed engineering, diploma in engineering qualification can apply for Apprenticeship Training after enrolling themselves with the NATS web Portal.
  • There are over 100 subject fields for graduate / diploma students for which training is provided.
  • The period of training is one year.
  • Stipend is paid during the training period, 50% of which is reimbursed to the employer by Government of India.
  • Students can register for apprenticeship training through the NATS web portal.
  • Students are advised to attend the Apprenticeship Fairs that are held periodically to get selected for training.
