This initiative aims to honour the girl child and to ensure that girls from poor families and daughters of widows/destitute women, sports women and orphan girl child, are married gracefully. The state govt. provides grant to the beneficiaries for the celebration of marriage of their daughters. Fill the registration form with valid details like username, email, password, mobile number and click on “Send OTP” button.
An OTP shall be sent on the registered Mobile Number. Enter that OTP and click on the “Register” button.
Accordingly, a link will be sent on your registered mail id. Click on the link to activate the login.
Then you can make shaadi edisha gov in portal login by clicking on “Account” tab and then clicking on “Sign In” tab.

Login using registered username and password for marriage registration. To reset password, click on the “Forget Password” button. The link will be sent on registered Email id. Reset Password link sent on Registered Email Id.
Once logged in, click on “My Registration” tab and click on “New Registration” button.
Then fill the marriage related details and select the reason for application as either “Marriage Registration” or “Application for Vivah Shagun Yojana“.
Fill Haryana Marriage Related Details
If marriage is not registered yet, firstly make marriage registration under appropriate act using Marriage registration option.
Once marriage is registered, fill application for Vivah Shagun Yojana to complete Mukhyamantri Vivah Shagun Yojana Haryana apply online process.
Applicant should be a permanent resident of Haryana state.
Marriage should have been registered by the competent authority.
Both of the spouse should have attained legal age of marriage i.e bride must be above 18 years of age and groom must be over 21 years of age.
The beneficiary should belong to one of the following categories:-
Daughter of a widow, divorced, or destitute woman
Orphan girl
Member of SC, DT, or Tapriwas communities
Daughter of a sportswoman (any caste)
From any section of society (General or Backward Classes)
Person with disabilities (Divyangjan)
Neither person in the marriage should be paying income tax.
None of the persons in the marriage should have been convicted in any criminal case or named as accused in any criminal case pertaining to violence against women or children.
Joint account passbook of the couple is required.
Note:- The claim of marriage incentive will not be claimed as a matter of right, it is an incentive.

The couple belongs to all sections of society in Haryana who are not covered in the above provisions of the scheme, who register their marriages with in a period of 30 days from the date of marriage will be given a Shagun of Rs. 1100/- and a sweet box .
Timeline of Mukhyamantri Vivah Shagun Yojana Haryana
The beneficiary may submit their applications max. within 60 days before marriage. The applicant can also apply for Mukhyamantri Vivah Shagun Yojana in Haryana during the period of 3 months after date of celebration of marriage. He/She will mention the circumstances/reasons due to which he/she was not able to submit application on or before the date of celebration of marriage.
The approval of the Director, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Department, Haryana will be required to sanction the Shagun amount to the applications who submit their applications during the period of 3 months after the date of celebration of marriage. No application will be entertained after 3 months from date of celebration of marriage.
The applicants who apply at-least 15 days prior to the date of the celebration of marriage, the amount of shagun will be transferred to their bank accounts before or on the date of celebration of marriage. The entire application process must be resolved with 30 days of application submission date.
