There are 2357 medicines in the Jan Aushadhi Kendra medicine list 2024 which was last updated by central govt on 18 June 2024. Quality of medicines provided by Jan Aushadhi Kendra are at par with the medicines of other reputed companies. All the medicines given under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana will meet the quality standards as specified by the central government.
The medicines offered through Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI) will contain the same salt as of the medicines of private companies. Also, the medicines supplied will be given at lower cost to the patients or their families under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana.
