Andhra Pradesh government is soon going to invite Incentives for Civil Services Examination apply online form 2024 at jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in. Under this scheme, the state govt. will provide financial assistance as cash incentive to the aspirants of socially, educationally and economically weaker/backward sections of Andhra Pradesh who qualified in the Preliminary and Mains Civil Services Examination conducted by the UPSC.
All those candidates who qualifies UPSC Prelims exam will get an amount of Rs. 1 lakh. Moreover, all those candidates who qualifies UPSC Mains exam will get an amount of Rs. 50,000. AP Incentives for Civil Services Examination scheme aims to increase the representation of A.P in the Civil Services.
The previously running Jagananna Civil Services Prothsahakam Scheme has been renamed as Incentives for Civil Services Examination Scheme. In this article, we will tell you how to apply online for new AP civil services examination incentive scheme, what is the eligibility criteria, which documents are required for registration, what is the last date to fill application form and other aspects regarding the scheme.
AP Incentives for Civil Services Examination Eligibility
- Applicant must be a permanent resident/ native of Andhra Pradesh belonging to Socially, educationally and economically weaker/backward sections.
- Candidate must have qualified for the UPSC Civil Services preliminary or Mains examination.
- Submission of proof of qualifying UPSC Civil Services pre-examination or mains examination is mandatory to avail the benefits of the scheme.
- The cash incentive under the scheme can be availed by a candidate, irrespective of the number of attempts, for clearing the Preliminary examination and for clearing Mains examination.
- The annual family income of the applicant shall not exceed Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. The applicant shall declare the following:
- Self declaration of family income.
- Salary certificates of the employee in the household.
- Latest Tax Assessment (if applicable)
- The data shall be verified by the Tahsildar before certifying the annual income of the family duly satisfying the following conditions:-
- The total land holding of the family to be less than 10 acres of wet or 25 acres of dry or 25 acres of wet and dry land together.
- A family which owns no property or less than 1500 sft of built up ara (residential or commercial) in urban areas is eligible.
- No member of the family should be a regular government employee/ pensioner (all sanitary workers irrespective of their salary/recruitment, are eligible).
- No member of the family should own a four-wheeler (Taxies/Tractors/Autos are exempted).
- Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority should be submitted by the applicants. In case of caste, the details regarding the caste of the applicant shall be submitted at the time of online application.

Incentives for Civil Services Examination Scheme Apply Online
STEP 1: Firstly visit the Jnanabhumi official website https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in/
STEP 2: At the homepage, click at “Incentives for Civil Services Examination” tab.
STEP 3: Then the scheme details will open where you will have to hit “Click Here” link in front of ‘Registration‘ tab.
STEP 4: Accordingly, the Incentives for Civil Services Examination Scheme Registration Form 2024 will appear as shown below:-
STEP 5: Fill in personal details, permanent residential address details, eligibility criteria, caste details, contact details, preliminary examination details. Upload the following documents in the registration form and click at the “Preview” button.
STEP 6: After validating the information filled in the form, make “Final Submit” to complete the Incentives for Civil Services Examination apply online process

Documents Required for AP Incentives for Civil Services Exam
Eligible candidates shall apply online through the website of the Department of Social Welfare along with all requisite documents. Applications received after the prescribed date and time will be considered invalid. No application will be accepted by any other means and such applications will be rejected. The list of documents to be submitted are as follows:-
- Self attested copy of photo.
- Signature-scanned copy.
- Admit card of the UPSC examination/Roll number slip.
- Self decalration of family income.
- Domicile certificate.
- Photo copy of Aadhaar Card
It is worth noting that Aadhar of the applicant has to be linked to candidate’s bank account as per NPCI portal. All the information submitted online by applicants should be entered correctly. The responsibility of any kind of error in online application will be of the applicant. Furthermore if the benefit of the scheme has been obtained by the candidate by giving false information, legal action will be taken against the candidate.
