cmkisan.odisha.gov.in Farmer Registration 2024: Odisha government is inviting CM Kisan Yojana Online Registration Form at cmkisan.odisha.gov.in portal. Farmers who want to apply online for CM Kisan scheme can do it so by visiting the official website. Under this scheme, Odisha govt. will provide financial assistance of Rs. 2000 per farm family for two crop season i.e Rs. 4000 p.a to small and marginal farmers. Landless agricultural households will get Rs. 12,500 p.a for agriculture allied activities. - Firstly visit the CM Kisan Yojana official website https://cmkisan.odisha.gov.in/
- At the homepage, click at “Farmer Registration” tab or directly click https://cmkportal.odisha.gov.in/Farmer/Registration
- Upon clicking the link, a new page to start Odisha CM Kisan Yojana Farmer Registration process will appear as shown below:-
- Tick the declaration and click at “Proceed” button.
- Accordingly, the page to make CM Kisan Farmer Registration using aadhar number will open.
- Enter your aadhaar number, captcha and click at either “Get OTP” or “IRIS” or “Finger” tab.
- For instance, we have clicked “GET OTP” button. Accordingly, an OTP would be sent on the entered mobile number.
- Enter the OTP received and click “Verify” button to perform authentication and proceed to apply online for CM Kisan Yojana with mobile OTP.
- Next fill in all the details asked to complete cmkisan.odisha.gov.in Farmer Registration process.
Note: For e-KYC authentication through Iris and Fingerprint scanning, please visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or Mo Seva Kendra.
Instructions for CM Kisan Yojana Odisha Online Registration
- E-KYC: OTP based Aadhaar e-KYC or Biometric e-KYC ( by CSC ) is Mandatory for enrollment in CM Kisan scheme.
- Bank Account Linking: Funds will be directly transferred only to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
- Ration Card (PDS): For identification of family members, ration card is mandatory for all except medium & large farmer.
- Land Registration: Applicant must have to register their land details on the Krushak Odisha Portal to become eligible for benefits under both schemes.
- Unique Mobile number: Applicant must have a unique mobile number for registration under both the scheme.
- MGNREGA job Card: Required for landless agricultural households (LAH) for enrollment under CM KISAN.
- Farmer Categorization
- Small Marginal Farmers (SMF): Land holdings less than 2 hectares.
- Medium Large Farmers (MLF): Land holdings more than 2 hectares only for PM KISAN applicants.

About CM Kisan Portal
CM KISAN portal of the State will serve as one-stop registration platform for all category of farmers to enroll themselves as beneficiary for both PM KISAN and CM KISAN schemes as per eligibilty. This portal is meant for inclusion of Small and Marginal farmers (SMF) and Landless Agricultural Households (LAH) of rural areas under CM KISAN Scheme. Medium and Large Farmers of both rural and urban areas shall also apply in CM KISAN portal for verification and consideration under PM KISAN scheme as per their eligibility.
Farmer Registration for PM KISAN & CM KISAN is mandatory to get the Financial assistance from Government of Odisha. This assistance amount can be used by farmers for cultivation like buying seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and towards labour and other investments required.
Key Interventions under Odisha CM KISAN Scheme
- Support to Cultivators for Cultivation: Under this component, Support is being provided for cultivation to the small & marginal farmers @ Rs. 2000/- per crop season totaling to Rs. 4000/- per annum for purchase of different agriculture inputs like Seeds, Fertilizer, Pesticides as well as to meet the expenditure towards labour charges and other investments in the field operations based on the farmers choice.
- Livelihood support to landless agriculture households: Livestock, Fishery & Horticulture based activities are the key drivers of economic growth in rural areas particularly for landless households as the income from wage labour alone is insufficient.Agriculture and allied sector assumes immense significance as additional activities in rural, which contribute substantially in enhancing their income and overall wellbeing. The activities are:-
- Small goat rearing units
- Mini layer units
- Dual purpose Low Input Technology bird units
- Duckery units
- Fishery kits for fishermen
- Mushroom cultivation
- Bee keeping
- Dairy Farming
- Tasar Farming.
The landless households will have the option of selecting any one of the livelihood units as per their choice.Under Livelihood support for landless agricultural households, financial assistance of Rs. 12500/- is provided in three tranches for enhancing their income and overall wellbeing.
- Krushi Bidya Nidhi Yojana: Under Krushi Bidya Nidhi Yojana component, necessary financial assistance extend to the children of the beneficiaries under CM KISAN for pursuing in Professional/ Technical courses. It will lead better access to Higher Education for children of Small & Marginal farmers (SF/MF) and Landless Agricultural households (LAH). Krushi Bidya Nidhi Yojana will support SF/MF & LAH in empowering the socio economic status of their families.
