AP Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi (AOVN) Apply Online, Last Date, Eligibility, Details

Andhra Pradesh government is soon going to invite Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi apply online form 2024 at jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in. AOVN scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to eligible students belonging to SC, ST, BC, Minority, EBC including Kapu students to pursue PG/Ph.D/MBBS courses. Through AOVN scheme, students can make registration in any of the 21 broad category of subjects in top 50 Institutions/Universities as per latest OS and Time Higher Education world rankings.

The previously running Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme has been renamed as Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi (AOVN) scheme. In this article, we will tell you how to apply online for AOVN scheme, what is the eligibility criteria, which documents are required for registration, what is the last date to fill application form and other aspects regarding the scheme.

Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Eligibility Criteria

To avail benefits of AOVN Scheme for SC/ST/BC/Minority/EBC Students, candidate must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:-

  • Candidate should be a native of Andhra Pradesh state.
  • Maximum age should not exceed 35 years as on date of publication of notification.
  • Family income shall not exceed Rs. 8 lakhs per annum.
  • Only one candidate per family eligible.
  • The candidate who availed financial assistance under similar schemes from State or Govt of India is not eligible under the AOVN scheme.

Education Qualifications for Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi 2024

  • For Post Graduate courses: 60% marks or equivalent grade in foundation Degree in Engineering/Management/ Pure Sciences/Agriculture Sciences/Medicine & Nursing/Social Sciences/Humanities.
  • For Ph.D. course: 60% marks or equivalent grade in PG course in Engineering/Management/Pure Sciences/ Agriculture Sciences/Medicine/Social Sciences/Humanities.
  • For MBBS courses: 60% marks in intermediate or equivalent course.

Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Apply Online

STEP 1: Firstly visit the Jnanabhumi official website https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in/
STEP 2: At the homepage, click at “Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi (AOVN)” tab.
STEP 3: Then the AOVN Scheme details will open where you will have to hit “Click Here” link in front of ‘Registration‘ tab.

STEP 5: Accordingly, the Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme Login page will appear as shown below:-

STEP 6: Enter your User Name, Password, Captcha and click at “Sign In” button to apply online for Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship.

Last Date for Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Registration

As the official notification of Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme has not been released yet. Once the notification PDF is available, we will update the last date for AOVN Scheme registration here.

Documents Required for AP Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship

The following documents are required for filing of AOVN scholarship applications:-

  • Caste certificate from concerned village / ward secretariat.
  • Income certificate from concerned village / ward secretariat and it should be physically certified by the concerned district collector.
  • Ration card of the family of the student, if available.
  • SSC certificate / Date of birth certificate (for the purpose of determining the eligible age prescribed for the scheme).
  • Aadhar card.
  • Nativity certificate from the MeeSeva / Revenue department.
  • Qualifying Intermediate / Degree / PG certificate for admission to MBBS / PG course / Ph.D course respectively.
  • Mark Sheet of qualifying examination (for proof of acquiring minimum prescribed marks).
  • TOEFL / IELTS / GRE / GMAT score sheet.
  • Unconditional offer letter from foreign university.
  • NEET score card, in case of admission into MBBS course.
  • Copy of the latest tax returns of family members, wherever applicable.
  • Nationalised Bank Account details of student.
  • Latest passport size photo.
  • Scanned signature.
  • Self certification from the student that no other family member of his family availed financial assistance under similar scheme from the state or central govt and he/she also has not availed similar scheme from the state/central govt. previously.
