The target of AAY Scheme is to ensure proper housing facilities for 8 lakh citizens till 31st March 2026 and 20 lakh citizens till the year 2028. Each selected beneficiary will get Rs. 2 lakh housing assistance in 5 installments. Abua Awas Yojana List 2025
The main objective of AAY Scheme is to provide pakka houses to poor citizens who does not have their own houses. The Jharkhand state govt. plans to provide housing facilities to 20 lakh families till the year 2028. This AAY scheme aims to ensure that poor people in rural areas have their own houses, for which financial assistance is given.

Enter acknowledgement number, mobile number and click “Check Application Status” button to track your Abua Awas Yojana status.

- At the homepage, click at “Online Complain/Redressal” link or directly click https://aay.jharkhand.gov.in/Reg/Redressal
- Upon clicking the link, the page to make Abua Awas Yojana complaint registration online will appear as shown here:-
- Enter Sarkar aapke dwar acknowledgement number, basic details like name of complainant, mobile number, details of complaint, select district, block, panchayat, village, date of complaint and click “Submit” button.

The Abua Awas Yojana would cost Rs. 16,320 crore to the state exchequer in 3 years i.e from FY 2023-24 to FY 2025-26. In these 3 years, state govt. aims to provide houses to 8 lakh beneficiaries. Afterwards, the AAY scheme will continue for next 2 years i.e till 2028 to achieve target of providing 20 lakh houses to poor people.

Background of Abua Awas Yojana
Abua Awas Yojana was firstly announced on 15th August 2023 followed by cabinet approval in October and launch in November month. First installment of AAY scheme was transferred on 9th February 2024. Under this scheme, the state govt. of Jharkhand provides 3 room houses to poor people in rural areas. Each beneficiary is entitled to get Rs. 2 lakh assistance from the state government.
People left out of PM Awas Yojana Gramin and B.R Ambedkar Awas Yojana are the primary beneficiaries of AAY scheme. Around 29.97 lakh applications have already been received. Out of these, around 20.65 lakh applications have been found as eligible beneficiaries after verification.
