What is Mukhyamantri Ayushman Durghatna Bima Yojana Rajasthan?
In order to provide financial support to families in the event of accidents, the state government has implemented the Chief Minister’s Ayushman Accident Insurance Scheme. This scheme, which is already underway by the state government, aims to provide insurance coverage for various accidents under the Chief Minister’s Ayushman Arogya Yojana.
With the objective of offering insurance coverage, the Chief Minister’s Ayushman Accident Insurance Scheme (MADBY) has been initiated. Under this scheme, accident insurance coverage of up to Rs 10 lakh will be provided to enrolled families free of cost. In case of permanent disability due to accidents resulting in the loss of hands, legs, or eyes of any member(s) of the insured family, financial assistance will be provided to the affected family as per the scheme’s regulations.
Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Durghatna Bima Yojana Rajasthan
Conditions Covered – Benefits of Chief Minister Ayushman Accident Insurance Scheme will be payable on death/injury caused in the following types of accidents:-
Death/damage caused by road accident, train accident and air accident
Death/damage caused by the insured falling from height or falling of any object from height.
Death/damage due to house collapse
Death/damage caused by electric shock
Death/damage caused by spraying of chemical substances
Death/damage due to drowning
Death/damage caused by burning
Conditions NOT Covered – Benefits will not be payable in the following situations:-
Death or other losses due to various diseases like cancer, TB, heart attack or madness etc.
Murder, attempt to murder, self-harm, suicide or attempted suicide.
Death/damage caused by consumption of intoxicants/drugs/alcohol by an insured member.
Damage caused during medical or surgical procedure
Damage caused by nuclear radiation or nuclear weapons
Damage caused by war, foreign invasion, acts of foreign enemy, civil war, treason or anti-national activities etc.
Damage caused by pregnancy or delivery
Damage caused by the insured person violating any law prescribed by law with criminal intent.
Death/injury while engaged in aviation/ballooning/mounting/dismounting/or while traveling in an aircraft other than as a passenger.
Benefits under the policy will not be payable in case of fracture of arm or leg etc. in various accidents.

Beneficiary Family and Insured Members under MADBY Rajasthan
Registered family – Families insured/registered under Chief Minister Ayushman Health Insurance Scheme and Rajasthan Government Health Scheme and RGHS should be included.
Vidyut Karmi – All the families of the electrical workers of the five power companies, who are not covered under both the Chief Minister Ayushman Health Insurance Scheme and the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme, will also be considered as insured families under the scheme.

Process to Claim under MADBY Rajasthan
In case of death of any member of the family in an accident or permanent total damage as mentioned in the policy due to the accident, the claim form will be filled on the online portal by any adult member of the insured family.
It will be necessary to submit the claim within a period of 60 days from the date of accident (date of death in case of death).
The claim form can be completed within a period of 90 days from the date of accident/death by mentioning the appropriate reasons for the delay.
On submitting the claim form on the portal, OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to the Jan Aadhar card. In case of death of the head, OTP will be sent by the claimant to the mobile number mentioned in the online claim form. By the claimant. T.P. The claim will be registered on the portal only after it is submitted and accepted by the portal.
After the claim is registered on the portal, the claim will be examined by the insurer and if found appropriate in the context of the policy, the claim will be accepted/rejected. If other documents are required, the insurer will ask for the documents from the claimant online.
The claim will be settled within 30 days of receipt of all required documents/investigation report.
The insurer will send a message regarding acceptance/rejection and objection to the claimant’s mobile number.
If the claim is eligible for approval, the insurer will process online payment into the bank account of the head linked to the Jan Aadhar card.
In case of death of the head, the amount payable to the husband and if he is also not alive, the amount payable among the remaining members of the family will be divided in equal shares and deposited online by the insurer in the bank accounts of the members of the insured family.
No amount will be payable in case of death of all the members of the family (mentioned in Jan Aadhar).
In case of family dispute or pending judicial process, payment will be payable as per the decision of the competent court.

Under Mukhyamantri Ayushman Durghatna Bima Yojana, in case of accidental death/permanent total disability of any member of the insured family, the amount will be paid as per rules into the bank account of the head of the family which is linked to Jan Aadhaar.
