Rajasthan government is going to invite Lado Protsahan Yojana online application form soon. Under this scheme, the state govt. will provide financial assistance through Rs. 2 lakh savings bond on the birth of girl child. Accordingly, each girl beneficiary would receive 7 installments worth Rs. 2 lakh from their birth till the time they becomes 21 years. Lado Protsahan scheme aims to reduce the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in the state. Along with this, girls enrollment in schools and colleges would be increased.

From the birth of a girl child till the girl beneficiary completes 21 years, each girl beneficiary would receive Rs. 2 lakh amount under Lado Protsahan Yojana. Each girl beneficiary is entitled to receive this amount in 7 installments given time to time as mentioned below:-

In all the 7 installments, amount will be paid online through direct benefit transfer (DBT) mode. The first 6 installments would be transferred to the bank accounts of girl’s parents or guardian. However, the final 7th installment would be credited to the girl’s bank account through DBT. Rajasthan state govt is incorporating benefits of upcoming instalments of Rajshree scheme into Lado Protsahan Yojana.
Objectives of Lado Protsahan Yojana
Lado Protsahan Yojana in Rajasthan aims to fulfill the following objectives:-
To ensure better health and education to girl children.
To reduce Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Rajasthan.
To reduce Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in the state.
To improve child sex-ratio in the Rajasthan state.
To increase enrollment of girl children in schools and colleges.
To prevent evil practices like child marriage.
To promote institutional child births in govt. hospitals or govt. health facilities.
Rajasthan Lado Protsahan Yojana Apply Online
Just like other financial assistance schemes for girls, Rajasthan Lado Protsahan Yojana registration form would be invited. Interested parents who wish to get Lado Protsahan Yojana amount for their girl children will have to apply online for Lado Protsahan Scheme. The application forms would be invited at either the state govt’s official website https://rajasthan.gov.in/ or a dedicated Lado Protsahan portal (to be launched soon). Since the official guidelines for Lado Protsahan Yojana are not out yet, so the application process is still not known. Eligibility & Documents Required for Lado Protsahan Yojana
Under this scheme, only those girl children born in a govt medical institution or a private medical institution approved for Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) will be eligible.
As per eligibility norms, the mother must be a native of Rajasthan.
During the antenatal care check-up of the pregnant woman, documents like a certificate of being a native of Rajasthan or a marriage registration certificate, bank account details, etc., will be obtained and maintained by the medical, health and family welfare department.
These details will then be entered on the pregnancy, child tracking & health services management system (PCTS) portal.
